Asclepias incarnata X 200 seeds

Asclepias incarnata X 200 seeds
Swamp Milkweed is used by Monarch butterflies as a food source for their caterpillars. There are plenty of seeds, ideal for children or adults to grow and sell for some pocket money later in the summer when in the last few years food has been very scarce. It's quite upsetting seeing people come into a garden center desperate for food for their caterpillars.
Swamp Milkweed is a herbaceous perennial so will get larger each year with new and larger stems, similar habit to penstemon.

Seeds must be cold stratified to get the best germination. An enzyme in the seed that prevents germination until winter has passed must be broken down, all instructions will be supplied.
